Progress To Date
The Search Committee has been busily working on the process for calling a new rector. Here are some details of our work.
February 2026
- Search Committee named.
- The Search Committee met with The Reverend Catherine Collier, Canon to the Ordinary, to receive the diocesan guidelines for a rector search.
- Engaged Kristy Steele, a consultant recommended by the diocese, to assist the Search Committee in preparing and printing the Parish Profile.
March
- Created and distributed a Parish questionnaire to use in creating the profile.
April and May
- Held Listening Sessions for parishioners to provide additional information for the profile.
- Compiled the results of the questionnaire and the listening sessions.
June
- Worked with Kristy to produce the first draft of the Parish Profile.
July
- Edited the Parish Profile.
August
- Sent the edited Parish Profile to the Editorial Review Board (ERB) and the Development Team of our church website.
- Met with The Reverend Katie Pearson, Canon to the Ordinary, to receive the updated diocesan guidelines for a rector search.
- Received the Vocation Hub Profile questionnaire, a new form used by the National Church to advertise for a new rector.
September
- Returned the final edits for the Parish Profile to Kristy Steele.
- Working on the twenty-question Vocation Hub profile.
